Yep, you read right. We are about to unveil the promised “get-rid-of-cellulite” products that are out there that unfortunately, don’t.  So heres to saving your coins on faulty products!

Creams/Lotions
A lot of over-the-counter lotions and creams are promoted as cellulite treatments. They have ingredients like caffeine, retinols, etc. Although some do tighten, brighten and give a glow on the skin, cellulite is much more complex and a simple lotion just cant get rid of it.

Dry scrubbing/skin brushing
This one is a popular one. And it breaks my heart to tell you that what your doing is a waste of time. Dry brushing DOES have great benefits that you can use this method for, but vanishing cellulite isn’t one of them. It does improve the look a little but only on the surface of the skin, and it is something that you have to do consistently.

Roller and suction
This you’ll see on the shelves as products called cellulite massagers. They suck or roll on the skin and, supposably, increase circulation. This usually gives temporary improvement, but it all depends on the person and device.

Garments
There is a garment that’s meant to “massage” or “compress” the skin. This is another that manages cellulite, but it all depends on how often you use it and the person.

There is no real fix to cellulite, and even though it is annoying, it is also normal to have cellulite. Don’t stress so much about it. Embrace it; it’s part of being a woman!
