What a perfect way to pair your Thanksgiving meal than with a cocktail such as a holiday “sauce” cocktail to spice up your holidays. The cocktail has attracted many thanksgiving connoisseurs with its bright orange look that is perfectly paired with lemon that is spread across the rim of the glass, dipped in cinnamon to give it a twist of citrus and warm flavor to the drink. 

With its blends of cranberries, Hennessy v.s. Cognac and the citrus taste from the fresh lemon juice it will be your go-to cocktail drink for the cooler season. It’s best paired with a martini glass or with coupe glass that will create a modern classic feel to your night. After drinking this cocktail, it will leave you with that warm autumn feeling that can easily be added to a Thanksgiving dinner with your family.

 

INGRIDIENTS:

– Cinnamon

– Sugar

– 1 1⁄2 oz Hennessy V.S. cognac

– 1⁄2 oz Fresh lemon juice

– 1 tsp Cranberry sauce (heaping tsp)

– 1 dash Fee Brothers cranberry bitters

RECIPE:

Coat the rim of a Martini or coupe glass with a mixture of equal parts cinnamon and sugar, and set aside.

Add the remaining ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice.

Shake, and strain into the prepared glass.

Garnish with an orange twist
