Dr. Billy Kowalski is a veterinarian dedicated to building lasting relationships with his patients and their families. After practicing in Las Vegas, he relocated to Tampa in 2016 to be closer to family. He studied Animal Sciences in undergrad before completing his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri in 2014.
Dr. Billy credits his mentors, Dr. James Nave and Dr. Randy Ezell, with shaping his commitment to platinum-level care and exceptional bedside manner. He is also grateful for the continued guidance of Dr. James Evans and Dr. Blake Tunnard, whose mentorship has influenced every aspect of his approach to veterinary medicine.
In 2019, Dr. Billy fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening Harbor Springs Vet, a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology and modern techniques. His practice is devoted to delivering the highest standard of care, helping pets stay happy and healthy through every stage of life.
He provides personalized treatment plans tailored to each pet’s unique needs and lifestyle, always treating patients as if they were his own — with compassion, attention, and genuine love.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Billy enjoys an active life with his wife, Suzie, and their sons, Henry and Hudson. Family time often includes outdoor adventures, beach trips, and building LEGO sets together. The Kowalski household also includes a few beloved four-legged family members: Bex, a Golden Retriever; Kayce, a Labrador Retriever; and Hazel, a calico cat.
