Originally from California, Dr. Brittany Sinclair earned her bachelor’s degree in biology in San Diego, then moved down under to attend veterinary school in Melbourne, Australia. After graduating in 2012, she moved to Tampa where she completed a rotating internship followed by a 3-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care at BluePearl Veterinary Partners. She remained in the area after residency, helping to develop and grow the critical care service at BluePearl Clearwater. One husband, two little boys, two dogs and three cats later she decided to leave the 24/7 life of emergency/specialty medicine and venture out on her own.
Having worked in referral medicine in the Tampa Bay area for over a decade, she was well aware of the need for affordable, readily available, quality diagnostic imaging within the veterinary community. She knew that her value in providing diagnostic imaging services extended well beyond image acquisition. Her years of clinical experience, integrating imaging findings with clinical case management alongside a multidisciplinary specialty team, put her in a unique position to bring specialist level consultation and case management directly to local clinics. Her overriding goal was to elevate the level of medicine possible in all veterinary clinics of Tampa Bay.
Together with her husband and business partner/manager Tyler Sinclair, they turned this vision into a reality with Sinclair Imaging. Every day Dr. Sinclair travels to general practice and emergency veterinary clinics around Tampa Bay offering abdominal, thoracic, and cervical ultrasounds, as well as echocardiogram services. This is coupled with vet to vet case consultation, next step diagnostic and treatment recommendations, and unlimited follow up consultation. The Sinclair family plans on being part of the Tampa Bay veterinary community for the long haul, helping as many pets and their families as possible!
