From a very early age, Dr. Jacky was enchanted by animals, with cats capturing her heart most of all. Growing up in Miami, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian—a vision that propelled her forward through years of dedication. After moving to Australia, she pursued her passion and graduated from the University of Sydney Veterinary School in 2017, officially realizing her childhood goal.
Dr. Jacky broadened her expertise by working in diverse settings across the globe. She provided veterinary care in New Zealand, South Africa, and Egypt, gaining invaluable experience in different environments and cultures while honing her skills in compassionate animal medicine.
Since 2020, she has made her home in the Wesley Chapel area of Florida. There, she co-owns Good Karma Veterinary Therapy, a mobile veterinary practice that brings professional care directly to pets in the comfort of their own homes. Dr. Jacky believes the familiar home setting is the least stressful environment for veterinary visits, allowing pets and families to feel relaxed and at ease. True to their slogan—“providing the loving care and kindness our pets deserve!”—she and her team focus on gentle, personalized attention.
She finds deep fulfillment in end-of-life care, acupuncture, laser therapy, and preventive wellness. A committed advocate of Fear Free® techniques, Dr. Jacky uses treats, soft handling, and abundant affection to make every visit positive and low-stress. She also works weekend relief shifts at community vaccine clinics across Florida, helping make quality care more accessible.
A devoted mother to four children, Dr. Jacky shares her home with two Italian greyhounds and three beloved cats. Passionate about neurodiversity, she champions understanding, inclusion, and kindness in both her personal life and veterinary practice.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Dr. Paige now lives in St. Petersburg with her 13-year-old soul dog. She was fortunate to know from an early age that she was meant to work with animals, a sense of purpose that continues to drive her career today. She approaches each case with care and intention, always honoring the human–animal bond. Preserving that bond is her favorite part of the job, and she considers it a privilege to help families navigate both joyful recoveries and difficult goodbyes with compassion and dignity.
Dr. Paige earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Louisiana State University. Following graduation, she completed a year-long, emergency medicine–focused internship, gaining experience managing critical and complex cases, further refining her diagnostic skills and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Beyond patient care, Paige is a strong advocate for improving mental health within the profession, a field known for its high rates of stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue. She believes that excellent medicine is best practiced in environments where team members feel valued, supported, and uplifted—and where no one feels they have to carry the weight of the profession alone. As a QPR gatekeeper-certified veterinarian and a strong proponent of Not One More Vet (NOMV), she works to normalize conversations around mental health and strengthen a community grounded in compassion and mutual support.
She is currently an early member of the team at Beacon Emergency Veterinary Hospital, Tampa Bay’s first locally owned, veterinary-led emergency hospital. Having been part of their early growth, she deeply values Beacon’s ongoing focus on respect, support, and teamwork as the foundation of its culture.
In her free time, Paige enjoys dancing, spin class and exploring St. Petersburg’s local coffee shops and wine bars.
