Dr. James Donovan is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon providing care in the area. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Kentucky, Medical School Education in Cincinnati Ohio, Orthopaedic residency through Michigan State University in Flint Michigan, and then went to Louisville Kentucky to the prestigious Kleinert Institute where he completed a Hand and Upper Extremity Microvascular Surgery Fellowship.
Dr. Donovan has spent a lifetime helping people and from a very early age he knew he wanted to be a physician. He utilizes up to date diagnostic studies and therapeutic programs to assist patients in treating their conditions. His training allows him to be an expert in non-operative treatments of injuries as well as adept at surgical procedures such as shoulder replacement and arthroscopic shoulder procedures, elbow reconstructive surgery, wrist, and hand surgeries. He also treats Hip, Knee, and Foot/Ankle conditions. He treats fractures of all bones in both children and adults. Dr. Donovan is also trained in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic disorders of the spine.

Dr. Donovan has spent significant time in the field of sports medicine as well. He has provided care to recreational and professional athletes of different sporting areas. Over the last decade he has also been a team physician for a minor league hockey team in addition to local high schools.
