Dr. Merrill A. Krolick, DO, is a distinguished, quadruple board-certified interventional cardiologist serving the Tampa Bay region from Largo, Florida. With more than four decades of clinical experience as of 2026, Dr. Krolick is respected for his clinical precision, academic leadership, and commitment to advancing cardiovascular and endovascular care. He serves as Program Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at HCA Florida Largo Hospital, where he mentors future leaders. He also directed the cardiac catheterization lab at Largo Medical Center (now HCA Florida Largo Hospital) for over 20 years, overseeing complex procedures and fostering innovation in interventional cardiology.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Endovascular Medicine, Dr. Krolick specializes in complex endovascular therapies. His expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular disease, deep vein thrombosis, critical limb ischemia, and endovascular management of aortic aneurysms. He is recognized as a pioneer in renal denervation, having performed more procedures than any interventional cardiologist in Florida. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his residency at the University of South Florida, and finished his cardiology fellowship there.
