Partner and Managing Attorney

Paul Milberg
Tampa Style Magazine's Attorneys of the Year

Paul A. Milberg has built a distinguished legal career defined by strategic thinking, unwavering credibility, and a passion for mentoring the next generation of trial attorneys. Born in Smithtown, Long Island, New York, his path to law was anything but conventional. As a history and anthropology major at Flagler College, he initially envisioned a future in field anthropology, inspired by a fascination with history, ethics, and the outdoors. A chance decision to take the LSAT changed everything. After earning his law degree from Nova Southeastern University and passing the Florida Bar in 1991, Milberg quickly discovered that litigation was where analytical thinking, persuasive advocacy, and creative problem-solving naturally intersected.

Over more than three decades, Milberg has cultivated an impressive career representing businesses, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, and insurers in complex civil litigation. After gaining invaluable experience under respected mentors, he co-founded his own law firm at just 33 years old, proving skeptics wrong as longtime clients followed him to the new practice. Today, as a Managing Partner at Kelley Kronenberg, he leads a growing team of trial attorneys defending individuals and businesses facing high-exposure litigation. His practice emphasizes proactive strategy, efficient risk analysis, and clear communication, helping clients navigate complex legal challenges while minimizing both financial exposure and the personal impact of litigation. Equally important to him is fostering an open-door culture where young attorneys are encouraged to grow, collaborate, and build lasting professional credibility.

While his legal accomplishments are significant, Milberg considers family his greatest success. He and his wife, a Pinellas County court stenographer, U.S. Air Force combat veteran, and advocate for veterans living with PTSD, have built a life centered around service, resilience, and community in Tarpon Springs. Together they enjoy Florida’s outdoors, gardening, local music, and time with their blended family, while remaining active supporters of veteran organizations and local charitable initiatives. Their shared commitment to helping fellow veterans has become one of the most meaningful aspects of their lives.

Looking ahead, Milberg remains focused on expanding his trial practice, mentoring exceptional litigators, and continuing to achieve outstanding results for clients across Florida. His guiding principle is simple yet powerful: credibility is everything. Earned through preparation, integrity, and consistency, it remains the foundation of every relationship, every courtroom appearance, and every successful outcome throughout his distinguished legal career.
