Known throughout the Tampa Bay area as Dr. Sojo, Dr. Amarillys Alvarado-Sojo has dedicated her life to helping people feel their best—inside and out. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she spent much of her childhood in hospitals, an experience that sparked an early appreciation for medicine and compassionate care. As a teenager, volunteering in a hospital confirmed her calling to serve others. Today, that same passion fuels her work in aesthetic medicine, where she helps patients achieve refreshed, confident, and naturally beautiful results.
Dr. Alvarado-Sojo earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed her U.S. Army Family Medicine training, caring for military members and their families. Her career later took her overseas for 14 years through work with the Department of Defense and DoDEA. These experiences instilled the values that continue to define her practice today: discipline, integrity, attention to detail, and the importance of truly listening. She further expanded her expertise through advanced aesthetic training, earning Diplomate status with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, Master Injector certification, and specialized facial anatomy training through leading educational programs.
As the founder of Ageless Skin Mobile Aesthetic Medicine, Dr. Alvarado-Sojo provides concierge aesthetic services throughout Tampa Bay, delivering personalized treatments in the comfort and privacy of her patients’ homes. Her philosophy is simple: “Enhancing natural beauty with a little science, artistry, and magic.” She believes aesthetic medicine should enhance, not change, who a person is, creating results that look natural, elegant, and never overdone.
After years of military moves, Tampa became the forever home she and her husband were seeking. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, snowboarding, and spending time with her growing family, especially her grandchildren. For Dr. Alvarado-Sojo, success is measured by trust, lasting relationships, and helping every patient feel confident at every stage of life.
