Dr. Vu Tran, dentistry has always been about more than teeth—it’s about people. As the founder of Transform Dental, Dr. Tran set out to create the kind of dental office he would want for his own family: welcoming, honest, and free of judgment or pressure. Today, that vision has come to life as a close-knit, family-owned practice where patients are known by name and treated with genuine care in Ellenton, Florida.
Dr. Tran’s journey into dentistry was shaped by a deep appreciation for healthcare and service. Born in Vietnam, Dr. Tran and his parents came to the U.S. when he was 2 years old. He credits his parents with instilling in him a deep-seated work ethic and compassion for others. After completing his education at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine, he moved to Manatee County with a clear purpose—to provide high-quality dentistry while making patients feel truly comfortable and heard.

He believes in listening first, explaining options in plain language, and partnering with patients to create treatment plans that fit their needs, goals, and budgets. Outside the office, Dr. Tran enjoys boating, sports, and spending time with his wife and friends. That same down-to-earth approach carries into his work every day, where his greatest reward is helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and proud of their smiles.
