Kathleen, “Katie” Logan, born in Alabama, moved to sunny Florida when she was 10 years old where she was privileged to grow up in a town deemed “the World’s luckiest fishing village.” For college, Ms. Logan attended the University of Alabama during what she calls “the dynasty years,” studying family financial planning and liberal arts. Prior to moving to St. Petersburg, in 2013, Ms. Logan and her Mother founded Logan Financial Planning, LLC, where they provided Family Financial Planning Services to clients in Alabama and the Florida panhandle. Shortly after, Ms. Logan attended Stetson University College of Law, where her fire ignited for litigation. While she was a student, Ms. Logan was one of few given the opportunity to compete for Stetson’s Nationally ranked Trial Team, wherein Ms. Logan and her teams were victorious.

Following her success in law school, Ms. Logan’s advocacy strengths and superior execution of evidence lead her to securing positions as a Clerk at the Federal Defender Program of Chicago, Illinois, the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Florida, and the Public Defender for the Sixth Judicial Circuit. Before practicing family law, Ms. Logan practiced in South Florida specializing in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. It was there where a mentor gave Ms. Logan the inspiration for her firm’s now logo, the rhinoceros, that reminds us that when a door doesn’t open, we can always kick it in instead. With that mantra in her head, Ms. Logan became Logan Legal, P.A., on January 1, 2019.
