Managing Partner and Civil Trial Lawyer

Over the past 13 years, William Franchi has devoted his career to the law, both as a deputy with the Pinellas County and Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Offices and as an attorney.  William’s legal career has been focused on helping those that have been hurt due to someone else.  More specifically, William focuses on representing those hurt in car crashes and slip and falls.

William has tried car crash cases, injury cases, contract cases, and criminal cases.  In one car crash case, William successively argued for the addition of punitive damages, which led to a settlement of more than a million dollars.

In 2017, William started Franchi Injury Law in the vision of making sure every client felt like family during and after his or her case.  “Welcome to the Family” isn’t just the motto for the law firm, it is the philosophy and the expectation that clients will be family.

In 2018, William was awarded the University of Tampa’s Alumni Achievement Award for exceptional career accomplishments.  In 2003, William transferred to the University of Tampa from Western Carolina University to continue his baseball career, but an elbow injury and Tommy John surgery forced him to turn to the academic side of college.  William and his family have been in Tampa ever since.

In addition, William is a certified agent with the NFL Players Association.  He has negotiated contracts and signing bonuses for NFL players and the MLB draft.

William has made numerous college speaking, radio, and TV appearances.  Currently, William appears every other Friday on the show Daytime on WFLA NBC to play the game Case or No Case.  William gives three case scenarios and the hosts have to guess which person has an actual case.  In addition, William is the Legal Advisor for WFLA NBC.
