Founder & Managing Partner
Pamela Cordova Papasov, Founder and Managing Partner of Papasov Law Group, brings nearly two decades of experience in the personal injury field, including nearly ten years as an attorney, along with a perspective shaped by both professional insight and personal experience. Born in Ecuador and raised in Tampa after immigrating with her family at age 10, Pamela credits her parents’ sacrifices, resilience, and work ethic for inspiring her determination. A Leto High School valedictorian and University of Notre Dame graduate, she later earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. Her career has included serving as an Assistant Attorney General for Florida, where she represented the State in appellate matters before Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal, as well as representing insurance companies at leading defense firms and advocating for injured individuals and families.
Pamela’s commitment to personal injury advocacy became deeply personal after she suffered a serious injury just weeks after giving birth to her first child. Experiencing firsthand the uncertainty, medical challenges, and financial strain that can accompany an unexpected injury strengthened her empathy for clients and reinforced her mission to provide compassionate, strategic representation. Today, she leads a three-attorney firm focused on personal injury litigation throughout Florida, drawing on her experience from virtually every side of the legal process. Her philosophy, “We fight to win,” reflects her commitment to preparation, attention to detail, and relentless advocacy while never losing sight of the person behind each case.
Beyond the courtroom, Pamela is devoted to her family and community. She and her husband, Ilian, are raising two sons while embracing their family’s cultural heritage alongside the American traditions that have shaped their lives and their family’s story. She established a scholarship for graduating seniors at Leto High School and remains passionate about mentoring students, young professionals, and aspiring attorneys. She also hopes to expand her ability to serve immigrant communities through pro bono immigration work.
At home, Pamela enjoys reading historical fiction and romance, traveling, and spending weekends supporting her sons’ jiu-jitsu training and competitions. Having watched Tampa evolve for three decades, she remains deeply connected to the community that welcomed her family and helped shape her journey.
