With nearly three decades of legal experience, Kyle Pennington has built a distinguished career grounded in integrity, professionalism, and a deep understanding of dispute resolution. A multi-generational Tampa native, Pennington has remained committed to serving the community that shaped him, bringing a practical, balanced perspective to every matter he handles. Licensed to practice law in Florida, Texas, and the District of Columbia, he has earned a reputation for assessing complex legal issues with fairness and insight.
A graduate of Tulane University and Stetson University College of Law, Pennington’s legal career has spanned both criminal and civil practice. He has served as both a criminal defense attorney and prosecutor and while in civil practice represented plaintiffs and defendants through litigation and trial. Today, as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit and County Court Mediator, he helps parties resolve disputes efficiently and thoughtfully. His mediation practice encompasses a broad range of matters, including tort claims, auto negligence, premises liability, trucking accidents, homeowner and landlord-tenant disputes, legal malpractice, housing discrimination, and emerging areas such as NIL litigation. In 2026, he further expanded his professional credentials by joining the American Arbitration Association–International Centre for Dispute Resolution as a panel member.
Pennington has also completed Texas mediator training through the University of Texas San Antonio and continues pursuing advanced credentialing in Texas mediation, reflecting his commitment to professional growth and excellence across multiple jurisdictions. His broad legal background allows him to understand the unique challenges faced by all parties while fostering productive dialogue and practical solutions.
Outside the legal profession, Pennington enjoys the discipline and focus of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. A surprising chapter of his journey includes studying classical vocal music and performing opera for a decade before attending law school—an experience that continues to influence the confidence, poise, and communication skills he brings to every mediation.
