Professional Fiduciary

Betsy Leslie is a Tampa native and the owner of Tampa Bay Fiduciary, LLC, where she has dedicated the past decade to serving individuals and families in positions of trust. Her upbringing was shaped by her parents’ resilience and entrepreneurial spirit. Her father, David Boyd, contracted polio at nineteen yet built a successful business in Tampa alongside her mother, Cyndy. Their perseverance continues to guide Betsy’s work, reflected in the mission statement she lives by each day: striving to meet the needs of each client through faith, wisdom, and compassionate service.

Betsy earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa before gaining experience in international sales. She later graduated with honors from Florida State University College of Law, where she interned with the Florida Supreme Court and the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office and competed on the Mock Trial team. She began her career as a felony prosecutor before choosing to devote time to raising and educating her four children, an experience that strengthened her leadership, adaptability, and perspective.

Today, as a Professional Fiduciary, Betsy serves as an Agent under Power of Attorney, Health Care Surrogate, Personal Representative, and Trustee, working closely with attorneys across multiple practice areas. She is also a published author, public speaker, adjunct professor, and founding member of the Professional Fiduciary Services of Florida, helping to expand awareness and education within this growing field.

She defines success by the wellbeing of those she serves and the trust she builds day. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her children and grandchildren, exploring tea houses and bookstores, volunteering in her community, and tending her garden and orchid collection, while looking to day hiking the Appalachian Trail.
