Orthopedic Upper Extremity Shoulder to Hand Surgeon
Raised in Buffalo, New York, he learned early that hard work, discipline, and making the most of every opportunity were simply part of life. Those values became the foundation of a career dedicated to helping people regain function, independence, and confidence. His interest in medicine began to take shape at the University of Michigan, where he worked in the laboratory that pioneered ECMO technology. Surrounded by innovation and immersed in the study of human physiology, he developed a fascination with the mechanics of the human body and the science behind recovery and performance.
He went on to complete medical school and orthopedic residency training in upstate New York before practicing as a general orthopedic surgeon in Watertown. During those formative years, he refined his clinical judgment and gained broad experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions. In 2020, he relocated to Florida to complete fellowship training at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute, specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. There, he further developed expertise in shoulder-to-hand care, including sports injuries, trauma, nerve and tendon repair, and complex reconstructive procedures.
Today, he serves patients throughout the Tampa Bay area with a philosophy centered on one guiding principle: “Restore function to maximize life.” He believes successful treatment goes beyond fixing an injury—it means helping patients return to the activities, careers, and lifestyles that matter most. Through thoughtful decision-making, meticulous surgical care, and close collaboration with therapy teams, he tailors treatment plans to each individual’s goals.
Outside of medicine, family remains his greatest priority. He and his wife, Sarah, a psychiatrist, are raising their daughter in the Tampa Bay area, where they enjoy boating, golfing, beach days, and community traditions. For him, the most rewarding moments are seeing patients regain confidence, restore function, and return to living life fully.
