Founder & Functional Dentist
Dr. Sana Yusuf is a U.S. Army veteran, dentist, entrepreneur, and founder of Sana Dental Studio in Wesley Chapel and Sunkissed Smile Co. in Tampa. Her journey into dentistry began with a desire to serve, first caring for soldiers on active duty and later building practices centered on the same philosophy: treat people well, educate without judgment, and never lose sight of the person behind the teeth.
Today, Dr. Yusuf is known for her comprehensive, technology-driven approach to dentistry and her passion for connecting oral health to the bigger picture. Her clinical interests include cosmetic and restorative dentistry, TMJ and facial pain, airway and sleep dentistry, clear aligner therapy, and digital diagnostics. She believes dentistry should go beyond fixing isolated problems and instead consider how the bite, jaw, airway, sleep, function, and overall health influence one another.
As the owner of two practices, Dr. Yusuf has built her career around creating personalized care across Tampa Bay. Sana Dental Studio offers a boutique, comprehensive experience, while Sunkissed Smile Co. was created to make high-quality dentistry more affordable and accessible, bringing the same clinical expertise, standards, and approach to patients who may otherwise face barriers to treatment.
Outside of the operatory, Dr. Yusuf is a wife, mother of three, and unapologetically curious entrepreneur who is always building, learning, and challenging the idea that healthcare has to fit neatly into separate boxes. Her greatest professional accomplishment is not a procedure or business milestone, but creating spaces where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make decisions about their health.
For Dr. Yusuf, the goal has always been bigger than creating beautiful smiles. It is about building a different kind of dental experience, one that combines clinical excellence, compassion, accessibility, innovation, and a deeper understanding of how oral health connects to the whole person.
