Lynette Silon-Laguna’s path to founding All Family Law Group, P.A., began with resilience, determination, and an unexpected message in a fortune cookie.
After being a rebellious teenager, Lynette’s twenties continued to be tumultuous, marked by choices she would later reconsider and a difficult marriage and divorce. She worked in office and restaurant positions before returning to school, determined to build a more secure, meaningful future.
While studying at the University of Central Florida, Lynette intended to become a paralegal. Then, a fortune cookie at a Chinese restaurant told her she would make a great lawyer. With her mother’s encouragement, she changed course and pursued law school. She still keeps that message as a reminder of the possibility that changed her life.
Lynette graduated summa cum laude from UCF in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. In 1995, she earned her Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Florida’s Fredric G. Levin College of Law.
She opened her first office in Clearwater in 1997, drawing on her own experiences to create the kind of support families need during deeply personal transitions. Her guiding principles were compassion, responsiveness, respect, and strong legal advocacy. In 2007, the growing practice adopted the name All Family Law Group, P.A.
Today, the firm serves Tampa Bay families in divorce, parenting and timesharing disputes, child support, alimony, paternity, relocation, post-judgment matters, military and high-asset divorce, adoption, and name changes.
For Lynette, success means building an experienced team that provides candid advice, careful preparation, and personal attention, helping clients understand their options and the potential consequences of their decisions. Her journey reflects a willingness to embrace unexpected opportunities and a lasting commitment to helping others move forward with greater confidence through some of life’s most challenging moments.
