Mark Stallworth is a respected Tampa trial attorney honored among Tampa’s Attorneys of the Year and recognized multiple times as a Florida Super Lawyers® honoree. He is a distinguished member of The National Trial Lawyers – Top 100 and The National Black Lawyers – Top 100, organizations recognizing exceptional trial attorneys for leadership, reputation, and professional excellence. Stallworth has recovered millions of dollars for injured clients, including more than $6 million for retired NFL players in the concussion settlement. As a Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum®, he joins fewer than one percent of U.S. attorneys who have achieved million-dollar verdicts or settlements.
Raised in Detroit by his mother, one of the nation’s first Black female United Methodist ministers, Stallworth developed the discipline, resilience, and compassion that continue to define his practice. His academic and athletic achievements earned him admission to Cranbrook Kingswood and later the University of Michigan, where he pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and received the Ronald E. McNair National Scholarship. He graduated with a degree in English Literature before earning a full scholarship to Stetson University College of Law and competing on its National Championship Trial Advocacy Team.
Stallworth began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney, trying more than 100 criminal cases before joining nationally recognized firms handling nursing home litigation, products liability, medical malpractice, and complex insurance subrogation. He later represented clients in catastrophic injury cases involving major corporations, including the NFL, Walmart, and Amazon, combining strategic advocacy with compassion to help clients achieve justice, dignity, and meaningful results.
In 2023, after 18 years as managing attorney and co-founder of a successful multi-office firm, Stallworth established his own practice focused on transparency, innovation, and client-centered representation. Licensed in Florida and admitted before the U.S. Supreme Court, he represents victims of negligence, traumatic brain injuries, and wrongful death. Above every professional achievement, Stallworth considers his family and remarkable children to be his greatest accomplishments.
